Although the displays and sale items will not be limited to this area, the annual arts and crafts fair encourages local artists and artisans to display and demonstrate their skills and to find a market for their work.
The women’s committee of the community Center, has spent more than six months in pulling together a display of- the outstanding works of artists and artisans in the two counties. All items will be displayed for sale.
Patrons of the show will get a preview Nov. 18 and the show will be open to the public Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and again on Sunday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Mrs. William Heard and Mrs. Herbert Bryant are cochairmen of the event, backed by a committee that includes Mrs. Howell Jackson, Mrs. Fred Kohler, Mrs. James Wiley, Mrs. Frank Norris and Mrs. William Costin.
