A total of 949 children who were bom to Virginians in July, 1975, were included in the random sample survey. Responses were received from 639 or 67.3 per cent. The survey indicated that approximately 66 per cent of the immunizations were provided by private physicians, 27 per cent were provided in local health departments and 7 per cent were provided by, the military.
