Rappahannock orchardist Sam Sneed points out that major U. S, producers are using the South American concentrates to bottle iame-brand beverages here. Sneed has joined with the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation in pushing politically for the change and also encouraging consumers to read the label before buying. He says local consumers can get better flavor and help the U. S. economy by shopping the roadside stands instead of the supermarkets.
