Homecoming And Revival
The Slate Mills Baptist Church will observe Homecoming and Revival services beginning Sunday, August 14 and will continue through Friday evening. Services begin at 8 o’clock each evening. The pastor, Rev. Harold Eaton will preach at the morning hour. Dinner will be served under the big tent on the grounds following the morning worship.
The Rev. Kenneth Hunneycutt,pastorof the Bethel Baptist Church will be the guest minister. Rev. Hunneycutt was educated in North Carolina, graduating from Oakboroa High School, Wingate College, Pfieffer College and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary of Wake Forest. He has served pastorates in North Carolina and Virginia. He is presently serving as Moderator of the Shiloh Baptist Association and is past president of Culpeper County Ministerial Association. He is married to the former Helen Williams and they have one son.
Special music is planned for each service and the pastor and congregation cordially invites the public to attend.
