RAPPAHANNOCK School Superintendent

O. A. Norton said schools would open for the 1963-64 session on September 3 at 9 a.m. Opening day classes would be abbreviated with school operating only until noon. Classes started earlier, on August 28, at George Washington Carver Regional High School.

The apple trees were so weighted down with fruit that it was necessary to lean over to pick the apples.
