F. R. Frazier, Sr. was honored at a party given by his children at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Atkins in Sperryville on Sunday afternoon celebrating his 87th birthday. Alvin Atkins and Michael Wayne Frazier also celebrated their birthdays at this time. Those enjoying the occasion were Mr. and Mrs. Holtzman Frazier and Mrs. Minnie Houbershelt of Fredericksburg, Mr. and Mrs. James Frazier and son Jeremiah of Spotsylvania, Joseph Peregory of Front Royal, Miss Brenda Frazier and Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Meade of Culpeper, Miss Janet Frazier of Castleton, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Frazier, Jr., Michele Rae and Michael Wayne and Harold Frazier, all of Boston, and Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Atkins and Angela of Sperryville.
Edmund Burke returned home Saturday following major surgery and a stay in an Alexandria hospital. His daughter Mrs. Emerson Bennett accompanied him home and spent the weekend here with her parents.
Mrs. John Lamb remains a patient in Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Carroll H. Petty of Front Royal was a guest Friday of Mrs. Ruth Lillard and Mrs. Joseph Hawkins.
Wayne Jenkins of Culpeper spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Jenkins.

Mrs. A. E. Goddard and daughter Caroline recently spent two weeks with Dr. and Mrs. John Reichman in Pocatello, Idaho, and also visited in Chicago and Denver, Colorado.
