ON THE PREMISES IN THE TOWN OF SPERRYVILLE,

RAPPAHANNOCK COUNTY, VIRGINIA

Pursuant to the provisions of a deed of trust executed by Paul Edward Steve DeMent and Elizabeth R. DeMent to Robert A. Niles and Hunter B. Chapman, Trustees, dated and recorded April 30, 1976, in the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County, Virginia, in Deed Book 118, at page 570, to secure the payment of a debt therein described, default having been made in the payment of the debt thereby secured, and being requested by the holder so to do, the undersigned Substitute Trustee (substituted pursuant to the terms of said deed of trust, the substitution being recorded August 16, 1983, in said Clerk's Office) will offer for sale at public auction, to the highest bidder or bidders, on the premises in the Town of Sperryville, Rappahannock County, Virginia, on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 1983, at 10:00 A M. (DST), the following property, known as "The Fairlawn Antique Property", or "The DeMent Property", to-wit:

"All that certain lot or parcel of land, with improvements thereon and appurtenances thereto appertaining, lying in the Town of Sperryville, Piedmont Magisterial District, Rappahannock County, Virginia, and bounded on the north by state secondary route 1002 and now, or formerly, by the lands of E. C. Johnson; on the west by state route 522; on the south by route 522; and on the east now, or formerly, by the lands of E. C. Johnson and James F. Smith.”

The real estate herein described is the same which was conveyed to Paul Edward Steve DeMent and Elizabeth R. DeMent, by deed dated April 26, 1976, and recorded April 30, 1976, in the aforesaid Clerk's Office in Deed Book 118, at page 568. See Rappahannock County Tax Map, Section 38A1-56.
