Rappahannock elementary school principal Magpie Piper has announced plans to get the school year off to a smooth start.
Fee day is August 22. Book rental fees will be collected and books will be issued 9-noon and 1-3 on that day. Due to the rising cost of books, the school board recently approved an increase in fees at the elementary school. The fee from K-3 is now $22 and 4-7 $32. That’s an increase from $18 and $28.
