Two area citizens have been denied the privilege of participating in the food stamp program for six months following conviction of welfare fraud in Rappahannock General District Court on Tuesday.
Dorothy Jenkins of Sperryville and Bascom Darnell of Jeffersonton each received sentence of $100 fine suspended plus court costs and were ordered to make restitution to the welfare department for the excessive food stamps. Jenkins was ordered to make $75 restitution, Darnell approximately $160.

Donald Wayne Willingham, Front Royal, DWI $200/$20 30 days/28 days suspended, operator’s license suspended three years.
Same, driving on a revoked license. $200/$20 ten days/nine suspended, operator’s license suspended 90 days.
Same, escape from custody, dismissed.
William E. Cameron, Jr., Sperryville, destruction of private property, accord and satisfaction, dismissed $20 costs.
Daniel Lee Corbin, Rixeyville, final VASAP, impaired driving $25/$20.
