Youngsters from Rappahannock County’s elementary and high schools and Wakefield School in Huntly are invited to audition next week for “Where I’m Cornin’ From”, a “mostly original” musical centered around the writings, thoughts and feelings of young people from this area. (■'

The Rappahannock Players’ spring production is the creation of Pali Delevitt Allan and her husband, Freeman Allan, who will be both writers and directors. They have been meeting regularly with local kids in “rap sessions” to gather material for the play.

The idea for “Where I’m Cornin’ From” grew out of the musical, “The Me Nobody Knows,” a Broadway hit based on the writings of young people from New York’s inner city. Numbers
