BZA Okays Corner Post Sign
At Massie’s Corner By MICHELE MAY Rappahannock N*w» Slaff Writer In its first meeting of the new year, the Rappahannock County Board of Zoning Appeals approved a sign to advertise the Comer Post restaurant. The sign is to be located at the comer of Routes 211 and 522 near where the Lee’s Apple Orchard sign is now. That sign will come down, Flint Hill restaurant* owner Peggy Clark said, explaining that hers will be similar to the one presently hanging on the front of the Comer Post. It will be beige with brown letters, Clark said, was “going to be very pretty” and “properly designed” on wood with a post and proper set-back. A motion from Peter Kramer was approved to allow a special use permit for a SO square foot sign for one year providing all state requirements are met.
