John Moffett Brown, Jr., 49, of Culpeper, died Friday, January 27,1984, at his residence.
Mr. Brown was a contractor and life-long resident of Culpeper County. He was a member of Gourd vine Baptist Church and a life member of the veterans of foreign wars.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Loretta Jones Brown; a son, Timothy Moffett Brown of Culpeper, one daughter, Mrs. Kimberly Brown Pullen of Reva; two ste-daughters, Mrs. Teresa Marks of Madison and Miss Tammy Aylor of Culpeper and one grandchild.
Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. Eraa Guinn Brown of Culpeper, three sisters, Mrs. Mario A. Casilli of Altadena, Calif., Mrs. Paul Compton and Mrs. John L. Hartman, both of Culpeper and two brothers, Thomas Pratt Brown and William Walter Brown, both of Culpeper.
Graveside services were conducted on Monday at the Culpeper Masonic Cemetery by the Rev. James Crane.
Clore Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of arrangements. '
