Mrs. Paul Miller spent from Friday until Sunday at Madison Heights visiting the Carl Howell family. On Saturday she attended the wedding of her granddaughter, Karen Howell to Kenneth Wayne White.
Mr. and Mrs. Moe Walker had dinner on Friday with the latter’s brother and sister-in-law, the Rev. and Mrs. Claude Cook at Culpeper. Joining them were Mr. and Mrs. Rick Cook of Macon, Ga.
Mrs. Ethel Pullen was a Saturday overnight guest of Mr. and Mrs. John Wimmer at Front Royal.
Mrs. Vernon Jenkins and daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Cook, all of Amissville and Haywood and Herbert Pullen, both of Washington were Saturday guests of Mrs. Wade Pullen.
Herbert Foster attended an apple growers meeting at Roanoke last week.
Keither Kinsey of Front Royal spent the weekend with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Huff.
