statement, Guest said “I am confident that within the Republican Party there are more than a few (potential candidates) who have proven their electibility, whether to Boards of Supervisors, Town or City Councils, or to the House of Delegates or Senate of Virginia.” Asked if he would support anyone in particular, Guest said he would endorse the candidate whose philosophy, is in harmopy with his own and would campaign for that person if requested.

Will he seek re-election to the Virginia House of Delegates next year? “Who knows? Probably,” Guest responded.

Has he ruled out running for state or national office at some point in the future? “It’s too early to speculate,” he answered. Joking again, Guest said he has "really thought a lot about attorney general but they seem to want you to be a lawyer!”

In a more serious vein, he said that he has been wrestling with the decision on whether to seek the Republican nomination for the seventh district congressional seat for the past month to six weeks. “I haven’t really looked beyond that.”
