Mrs. Ronald Shultz, Sr. and her grandson, Jimmie Murray were honored with a party for their birthday on Sunday at Green Pastures Christian Home. Others enjoying the occasion were Mr. and Mrs. James Murray of Etlan, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Weakley and Melony of Madison, Clarence Davis of Remington, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Moberely, Dean and Brian, Timothy Shultz, Clifford Yancey, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Shultz, Jr. and Heather, all of Culpeper, Ronald Shultz, Sr. and Mrs. Ethel Wilds of the home address.
Mr. and Mrs. Sydney Gottlieb and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Gowell will host the Rappahannock Association for Arts and the Community, this Saturday, February 4 from 9:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. at their home, “Blackwater Creek Homestead.”
It might be of interest to our readers that Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Jenkins, former residents, who now make their home with Mr. and Mrs. Littleton Fincham in CulneDer have been ill during the winter, however they were out on Sunday and had lunch with Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Hoffman.

Mrs. Carroll Petty and Mrs. Helen Baumgardener of Front Royal were Friday guests of Mrs. Ruth Lillard.
Mrs. Christine Timbers is recuperating at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Dodson following m^jor surgery in Culpeper Memorial Hospital. Her visitors bearing get well wishes have been Pastor Chuck Shiflett, Stewart Brown, Gigi Brown, Jennifer Land and Adelai Oston, all of Culpeper, Charlie Brown, Justin Corbin and Patricia Brown, all of Sperryville, Mrs. Bernie Jenkins, Charlotte Gaines, Elvis Dodson and Mrs. Darlene Updike.
Mrs. Marie Seal of Syria, Mrs. Charlie Dodson and Elvis Dodspp visited Charles Brown at Culpeper Health Care Center on Wednesday.
Congratulations are in order for Mr. and Mrs. Michael Johnston upon the birth of a baby son, Bryant. Grandparents are Mrs. Julia Johnston and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Sims.
