A poster contest is planned for next week at the elementary school in connection with the Jump Rope for Heart, McLawhorn added.
Parents are welcome to watch the event. McLawhom said those wishing to stay and eat lunch should let their children know in advance so they can report their guests to the cafteria staff. Adult lunches cost $1.30.
