Young ladies (and very young gentlemen) are being sought as contestants in the 1984 Rappahannock County Beauty Pageant sponsored by the Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad.
Young ladies, ages 3-21, will vie for the crown in various age groups. Boys, ages 3-6, will compete for the title of Little Mister Rappahannock.
The contest is set for Friday night, March 30, in the Rappahannock County Elementary School so young people should begin now to look for sponsors for the event. Information on applications will be announced soon.
It’s A Girl
Mr. and Mrs. Calvin J. Atkins and Angela of Sperryville wish to announce the arrival of a new daughter and sister, Kellie Renee.
Kellie was born on Sunday, February 5, 1984, at Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal.
Grandparents of the little girl are Lyle W. Atkins of Sperryville and Mr. and Mrs. Kinsey Wharton of Woodville.
