Variance
(Continued from Page 1.) ess with the usual scheduling, Baumgardner said it could be as late as May before the council accepted the new code.
Baumgardner said he is reviewing the draft from the planners and will try to have it to them in time for this week’s meeting.
Town Survey Planned
Miller also told the Town Council that he has received two bids for having a certified survey of the town lines made and will contact the Board of Supervisors to see if the county will foot half of the bill.
The location and boundaries of all districts and the town limits must be shown on a zoning map to be filed in the office of the clerk of the circuit court and in the office of the mayor, according to the proposed ordinance.
The town/county boundaries must be fixed by the General Assembly, Miller said, but they can’t be reviewed during the current session because agenda items must be submitted several days before the General Assembly convenes. But Miller said he expected to have the proposal filed in time for the next session in early 1985.
