Daphne Hutchinson, editor and eeneral manager of the Rappahannock News, and Teresa Reynolds, former reporter for the newspaper, recently won photographic awards from the Virginia Press Association.
In the category of weekly newspapers under 5,000 circulation, Reynolds received a second place in the picture story photo category for a full page lay-out of photographs of Washington’s Fourth of July celebration, “A Sesquicentennial Scrapbook.” Hutchinson was awarded a third place in the personality/portrait category for a photograph of Willie Eastham and his Jack Russell terrier, winners of the Fodderstack Race Day
