I feel that a comment in last week’s letter to the editor was inappropriate in stating, “There would have been no time for the rescue squad to have been of service.” I believe we are all needed as a whole, the EMS Council, in which to correlate efforts and responsibilities, the citizens, the rescue squads and fire departments, the nurses, doctors and their assistants, for the EMS System to carry out its obligations.

I would like to again commend Mr. Kidwell on a job well done.
