R.C.Q.E. To Meet

The Rappahannock Citizens for Quality Education will be meeting on Monday, February 27, at 7:30 p.m. at the Child Care & Learning Center. Parents and citizens interested in public school education are encouraged to attend. Learn To Stir Fry

The Rappahannock Extension Office is sponsoring a wok and stir-fry cooking class scheduled for March 1, 7-9 p.m., at the courthouse.* The class will include demonstrations, sharing session and taste testing.

Cost will be $3 to cover ingredients few the recipes. Participants must pre-register at the Extension Office in Washington, 675-3619, by noon on February 28. The class will be cancelled if there aren’t at least 10 signed up by that time.

Benefit Dinner Planned

The Sperryville Ladies Auxiliary will be • serving a dinner to benefit the fire department on Saturday, March 10 at the fire hall.

The menu consists of barbecue spare riba, meat loaf, green beans, corn; macaroni salad, baked apples, congenial salads, rolls, butter, desserts, coffee and tea. The price will be $6.00 for adults and $3.00 for children. Serving time will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Cany-out services will be from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m.
