Harold Carper

Oregon Resident Harold D. Carper, age 50, of Portland, Oregon, died Monday. February 6, 1984. He was the son of Frances Atkins Carper Erchenbrecker of Tiffin, Ohio, formerly of Sperry ville and the late George D. Carper. In addition to his mother, survivors include three daughters and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Thursday, February 9, in Portland, Oregon.

Lilly May Jones

Former Rappahannock Resident Mrs. Lilly May Jones, 77, of Fredericksburg, a former resident of Rappahannock County, died Thursday, February 9, 1984, at Mary Washington Hospital. Survivors include her husband, Arthur Jones; one sister, Mrs. Gussie Ryder of Stafford and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted on Sunday at Wheeler-Thompson Funeral Home in Fredericksburg. Burial was at the Sperry ville Cemetery.
