Share-the-Fun is off to a running start. RCES 4th graders were “clowning” around Friday during an initial , practice session before the contest on February 24.
Anyone between the ages of 9 and 19 who lives in or goes to school in Rappahannock County may participate in the vocal, instrumental?' j?. dfatntftig, dance aj& gttterak* citeg4ries. Competition starts, at 3:30 in the RCES gyin on' Friday the 24th. Who knows, you could win a trip to State Congress at VPI if you win the district show on March 17th. All first place acts on the county level will compete in the district show.
Sperryville 4-H
Club Organizing
Monday, February 20 at 7 p.m., the organizational meeting will be held at the Sperryville Firehall. Barbara Burke will be the organizational leader. Projects will be discussed, as well as upcoming events. Come join the fun of 4-H.
If there are two leaders interested in starting a 4-H Shooting Sports Club in the county, there will be a workshop at the West Central 4-H Educational Center, February 24-26. By attending the workshop, volunteers will incur a responsibility to the 4-H program to bring the information back to the county and make the shooting sports program work here.
