Woman’s Club Bake Sale The Rappahannock Woman’s Chib wQl have a bake sale on Saturday, October 20 beginning at 10 a. m. near the Trinity Episcopal Church.
The Masculine And The Feminine Workshop On Saturday, October 27 at the Middle Street Gallery from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. there will be a workshop to explore and express masculine and feminine (anima-animus) selves through guided imagery, myths, fairytales and other magical ventures. Leading the workshop wiU be Deni Horton, writer, poet and psychologist who works extensively with Jung, Art and Dreams and Steve Scoggin, pastor in Rappahannock County, who has studied at the Jugian Institute in Zurich. “Fanny and Alexander" Described by director Ingmar Bergman as the “Sum total of my life as a film maker”, this film shows the life of an eccentric theatrical family through a child’s eyes and will be shown Friday and Sunday, October 12 and 14, at 7:30 in the Gay Street Theater. It's rated R and is 190 minutes long.

Microwave Cooking Workshop A microwave cooking workshop series will be held at Rappahannock County High School from 7-9 p.m. on October 17,24,81, November 7,14 and 21. A minimal fee to cover expenses will be charged each evening. The following is the planned schedule: first session, basic introduction, how microwave ovens work, cleaning, utensils, safety, quick demonstrations; second session, vegetables and fruits, casserole cooking; third session, poultry, fish and meats; fourth class, eggs, milk, cheeses; fifth class will be on desserts and breads and sixth session, converting conventional recipes to microwave.
