Ladies Auxamry umiier bet
The Flint Hill Ladies Auxiliary will have a dinner following the Rappahannock House Tour on Saturday, October 20 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the fire hall. Roast beef or fresh ham will be served.
Auditions At Gay Street
Auditions for the Rappahannock Players’ foil production, "Wait Until Dark” will be held at the Gay Street Theatre on Sunday, October 14 from 2-4 p.m. and Monday and Tuesday, October 15 and 16, from 7-9 p.m.
The Players need technical assistance, too; production, stage and prop managers are sought as weO as a set construction crew. Production dates are scheduled for November 30, December 1,7 and 8.
McCarthy To Sign Books
Former Senator Eugene McCarthy is scheduled to be at Rush River in Washington on Saturday, October 20, from 1 to 3 p.m. The former senator will autograph his new book, The View From Rappahannock, of which copies will be available for sale.
Junior Girl Scouts Meeting
An organizational meeting for junior Girl Scouts is scheduled for Saturday, October 13 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the home of Sue Ohlinger in Amusville. This is a "must-attend” meeting for those interested in junior Girl Scouts; activities for the entire year will be discussed.

CriglersviUe Arts and Crafts
A Fall Festival of Arts, Crafts and Music will be held October 13 and 14 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day at Swinging Bridge Pottery in CriglersviUe. More than 40 area artists and craftspersons will be displaying their works, including pottery, woodworking, needlecraft, glassblowing, fine arts and photography. The festival will also feature 15 musical groups, as weU as many kinds of food, including barbecue and freshpressed dder. Admission for either day is $l-per person; parking is free.
