Rappahannock 22, Straaburg 86, and Mannasaas Park had no score because it did not finish five runners.
The team ran a course of 2.7 miles at Blue Rock Farm. "Ricky Shaw and Ronnie Atkins were leading the race into the mountain, but Ricky obtained an iiyury on the mountain,” said Coach Ann Spieker. "Jonathan Watson passed three runners and the injured Ricky on the mountain to run behind Ronnie for second place.”
Spieker said that Watson is the most improved runner for the team. “Each race he moves forward in the ranks and improves his time,” she said.
