Photo CounesyH. W Hobduih Members of the Rappahannock Lions Club and their wives made and bottled their own apple butter at the cannery in Keezletown this past week. Quart and pint size jars of the specialty product will go on sale the weekends of October 13-14 and 20-21 at the Lions roadside stand on Routes 211/522 near the Elementary School. The Lions also sell locally-produced cider, apples, honey, and brooms made by the blind to support their charitable work in Rappahannock County. “This year’s apple butter is probably our best yet,” said Lions Club president Doug Baumgardner.
