According to the log, the following calls were routed through the dispatch center in the past week:
October 2:2:25 p.m., DOA, Route 600 Nethera, Sperryville Rescue Squad.
October 4: 12:31 p.m., hip injury, Rappahannock High School, Flint Hill Fire Department; 5:08 p.m., sick call, Route 621 Jefferson, Amissville Fire Department.
October 6:6 p.m., automobile accident, Route 211 Sperryville, Sperryville Rescue Squad and Fire Department; 7:55 p.m., automobile accident, Route 619 Castleton, Castleton Fire Department.
October 8: 1121 a.m., structural fire, Jefferson, Amissville Fire Department; 11:36 a.m., automobile accident, Route 211 Sperryville, Sperryville Rescue Squad and Fire Department;
Some 6,000 people are expected and 17,000 invitations have been distributed. They will enjoy the hot dog/baked bean/soft drink fkre, bluegrass and barbershop music, pony and hay rides, sky diving team exhibitions, balloon rides and have a chance to win lots of door prizes and participate in the raffles.
