Hardly a week goes by that someone doesn't ask someone else-or the newspaper - if something more can’t be done for the children who live in the county. That special something involves volunteerism.
Where adults volunteer to work with kids, the results speak for themselves. "Grownups” help mold personalities and christen character development.
The adage "the more the merrier” applies to volunteerism. As the saying goes, groups around the county don’t want much-they just want more. Examples of organizations and places where volunteers play a critical role are so numerous we hesitate to mention them for fear of missing the majority.
