For many of the senior citizens, this was their first experience with camp. The “campers” took regular summer camp classes. Among the favorites were water aerobics, horsemanship and outdoor cooking.
After classes were over, the campers attended afternoon seminars aimed at their specific needs and problems.
On Saturday evening the traditional campfire ceremony was held, for some it was their first campfire and this held special meaning for the rest of the campers.
It was a fun-filled weekend. Hie counselors and campers had thoroughly ei\joyed the time spent together. Each individual had benefited from this program and everyone left filled with memories that will last until next year.
