Each school division is also responsible for providing clarification and training for teachers, administrators, parents, and community leaders. Hires groups have been fenned to deal with these aspects of the county’s gifted program.
There is an Administrative Team that met on August 14 to discuss how to put the plan into practice. A School Division Gifted and Talented Committee met on August 20, September 7, and September 21 to develop the program, and a Gifted and Talented Advisory Committee met on September 26 to budget provisions, relating the Standards of Learning Objectives to the gifted program, extra clasaroom activities, and summer programs.
There was an inservice training session fbr teachers held on September 14 where relating Bloom's Taxonomy to the gifted, activities to put Bloom’s Taxonomy into practice, and planning lessons far the gifted and talented was discussed.
