During executive session, the board accepted the resignation of Ed Markh from his position as math •teacher at the high school, and appointed Freida Herman to that position. The board also appointed Shelby ; Atkina as custodian, Cheryl Stone as a substitute teacher, and James Hitt as a substitute bus driver.
The board advised Superintendent Estabrook to enter into negotiations ■ with the architectural firm of Smithey and Boynton of Roanoke for the capital outlay project at the high school. The board adjourned at 11:57 p.m.
