Miss Marion Massie Eastham and John Vincent Facchina were married Saturday, September 8 at 2 p.m. at Red Hill, the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. William G. Eastham in Amissville.
The Reverend Merlin Shorb performed the double ring ceremony and the wedding music was provided by Mr. and Mrs. James Wood.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white taffeta gown with a full skirt and chapel length train. The “V” neckline and sheer sleeves were accented by Venetian lace. Her floral headpiece featured a fingertip veil. She carried a bouquet of redand white roses accented by baby’s breath.
Miss Liz Eastham, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Miss Sarah Massie, Miss Kathy Dodson and Miss Cindy Lou Abernathy were bridesmaids. They wore sea green taffeta gowns with matching jackets and carried bouquets of pink roses and baby’s breath.
Mark Eastham was best man.
William G. Eastham, Jr., brother of the bride, Charles Macveagh and Robert Sorrell served as ushers.
Master William G. Eastham III and Miss Shannon Eastham, the bride’s nephew and niece were ring bearer and flower girl, respectively.
Mrs. Betsy Murray served as the wedding director.
