Editor’s Note: This it the account of the General District Court held on October 30. There was no court held on Novembers.
A case of failure to stop for a school bus against Irene Ola Buckler was dismissed by Judge John Alexander in General District Court on Tuesday.
Buckler had been stopped by Deputy Brown of the Rappahannock County Sheriffs Department after he had received information about the incident from Sheriff J.H. Woodward. Woodward testified that he had seen a light green car with Maryland tags pass a stopped bus that had its red lights flashing. He radioed that information to Brown, vyho stopped Buckler’s vehicle. ^ Buckler testified that she saw Duses turning into the school, but did dot see any bus stopped with flashing red lights. She Anther testified that she was driving a rose-colored car, and that she had been driving for 49 years with a perfect record.
Judge Alexander dismissed the
