During these golden autumn days fall the anniversaries of your birth and your death, and we remember.
We try to continue your life-work: to honor the land with stewardship, remembering to recall the stewards who preceded us; to care about and protect all animals and birds, both domestic and wild; and to reach for excellence with joy — and a joke.
You cared deeply for one's best effort. You encouraged and admired it wherever you found it, whether in a skilled craftsman or a handicapped laborer. The FORE crew of handicapped workers returned this fall to work our fields, carrying on your plan to include the handicapped in our farm operation.
A rich reminder of the unique legacy you left us.. .we remember.
