To the editor.
In the report on the October 24 BZA meeting I said more than was reported. This is what I said. “I'd like to know why it is that when the Massanova Pentecostal Church representatives come before the board everyone on the board thinks they have to give them what they want regardless of feelings expressed by others. It didn’t work on the nursing home case, and it caused Sursum Corda School long delays and much frustration. There to much talk about setbacks, pollution, traffic, noise, harmony and suitability-' of a project in the neighborhood. Here the numbers seem to scare the boards to death. If any of you would go lode and do some measuring tape work you’d come to the conclusion that there are violations here, too. There are many people who know about this situation, but it isn’t in their neighborhood, so they don’t want to get involved.
I’ve heard two members of the church brag about the nice acres they have to put a school on. You might get an explanation of what that means. Someone ought to find out why they desire the ordinance stalled, until they can do what? We have rights, too, and we live there. Not many of them do, and none of you do. What about our rights?
