More Harris Hollow residents called for downzoning of the tract — their major concern about the proposed zoning ordinance. The planning commissioners listened, but made no comment on the legal opinion during or after the meeting.
Other questions and concerns in regard to the proposed zoning ordinance were made and will be considered by the commissioners. . They include standards for noise, prohibiting the use of sludge as fertilizer in the county, auxiliary farm buildings not by right but by special-use permit, inconsistency in language about movie theaters and drive-ins, enforcement of the zoning ordinance, simplification or explanation in lay terminology of each section of the proposed document, a glossary of terms and a better table of contents.
