'Mrs. Nancy Branuner of Manassas, Mrs. Shirley Woodard and Mrs. Nancy Yowell of AmissviUe were Thursday guests of Mrs. Christine Vest.

Tuesday guests of Mrs. Wade Pullen were Mr. and Mrs. David Wills of Morningside, Maryland and Mrs. Lorine Borg of Washington, D.C.

Among those from the Flint Hill United Methodist Church who attended the district conference at the First United Methodist Church in Charlottesville on Saturday were M.H.Brady, Mrs.Barbara Gentry and the Rev. Merlin Shorb. Also attending was Mrs. Paula Klatko of Sperryville.

Mr. and Mrs. Leon Cloud of Fredericksburg spent the weekend with Mr. Cloud’s brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Lillard.

Visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Carson Lillard over the weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Lillard and Amy of Gainesville, Mrs. Debra Clatterbuck and Donald Berry and Michael Lillard of Front Royal, David Lillard of Pennsylvania, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Dellinger and family of Reliance and Miss Jean Lillard.

Miss Sallie Lillard spent a couple of days last week with Mrs. Geneva Cubbage at Stanley. On Wednesday they were joined by Kathleen Cubbage and Margaret Jenkins of Bentonville and visited Mrs. Elza Huffman in Front Royal.

Mrs. Crystal Werner of El Paso, Texas left Saturday for her home after spending two weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Grady Vest. She was accompanied to Dullas Airport by Renee Caliso and Mrs. Vest.

Mrs. Barbara Gentry and Miss Elsie Dodson visited Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Clemens at Grafton on Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. A.O. Smoot accompanied their daughter, Mrs. Buddy Bywaters to Fishersville on Saturday where they visited Jimmy Bywaters. Mrs. Bywaters was joined later by Mr. Bywaters and they spent the remainder of the weekend with their son. Enroute home the Smoots visited with Mr. Smoot’s brother, Humpy Smoot at Life Care Center at New Market.

Keith Kipsey of Front Royal spent l ithe weekend with his grandparents, Mr. and Mns. Frank Huff.
