A bill that would grant the Board of Supervisors of Rappahannock County authority to have an advisory referendum on zoning was “passed by indefinitely” by a committee of the General Assembly on February 4. The bill, whose patron was Delegate Raymond “Andy” Guest (R), would have allowed the supervisors to call a referendum on the question: “Shall Rappahannock County keep its present zoning ordinance?”
