Sperryville 4-H Club To Meet
The Sperryville 4-H Club will meet on Monday, February 18 at 7 p.m. at the Sperryville fire hall. All members and interested youngsters between the ages of 9 and 19 are invited to attend.
Basic Cardiac Life Support Course
Warren Memorial Hospital, in conjunction with the American Heart Association, will offer a Basic Cardiac Life Support CPR course in February. The course consists of three meetings and will be held on February 19, 25 and 26th at 7:30 p.m. in the hospital. Basic Cardiac Life Support includes resuscitation of infants and obstructed persons, as well as CPR for the adult. For more information, call the hospital, 636-6101, extension 110 or 152. There is no charge for the course.
Movie Hour For Preschoolers
The movies scheduled for Wednesday, February 20 at the Rappahannock County Library are: Jonathan and the Dragon; Lion on the Loose, Little Blue and Little Yellow and The King Who Never Really Lived. Showtime is 10 to 11 a.m. Area youngsters are invited. In case of bad weather, the movies will be shown the following morning.
“The Last Starfighter”
“The Last Starfighter” will be shown this Saturday and Sunday, February 16 and 17 at 7:30 p.m. at the Gay Street Theatre in Washington. This down-home, imaginative science fiction tale with a sense of humor is rated PG.
Art Guild Seeking Applications
