Dennis Grimsley Jenkins, 94, of Sperryville, died on Monday, February 4 at Mountain View Nursing Horae at Aroda.
A native of Rappahannock County, he was the son of the late James Lloyd and Mildred Ann Dodson Jenkins. His wife was the late Grace May Lillard Jenkins. He was a farmer.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Deal of Sperryville and Mrs. Margaret Spicer of El Paso, Texas; a stepson, Williams Smith of Manassas; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren and a number of nephews and nieces.
Graveside services were held on Thursday at Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper by the Rev. Douglas Farmer.
Pallbearers were Owen Yoder, Richard Brown, John Lewis Leake, James W. Fletcher, Don A. Deal, Luther Jenkins, Cumberland S. Bennett and Tony Deal.
Geest-Johnson Funeral home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
