Mr. and Mrs. Harold W. Jones of Sperryville are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Elisabeth Hertzog, to Philip Matthew Abisognio, Jr., of Levittown, New York.
The family of the groom joined the bride’s family at The Oaks for the February 8 ceremony conducted by the Reverend William H. Gibbs.
The bride is a graduate of The Madeira School and Duke University.
The groom is a graduate of Duke University and is employed by Irving Trust in New York City.
The couple returned February 16 from a wedding trip to the Bahamas.
The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Jr., of Sperryville and of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Wayne Jones of Pratts.
