The other issue that Mr. Viguerie wants the Government involved in is the right of the woman to choose what she does with her body. As a physician in practice for 26 years, I have had to counsel many women about the pros and cons of an abortion. How can a government force a woman to have a child that is the result of forcible rape or incest? How can a Government that reduces support for school lunches, immunizations and maternal care force a woman to have a child that is known to have genetic or congenital abnormalities and then wash their hands of support when the deformed fetus is bom?
Mr. Viguerie, if you want less government, apply it to all facets of life, and let a woman make her own choice and let us er\joy religious freedom, our most precious freedom.
