At a meeting of the executive board of the Community Concerts Association on February 3, plans were made for the upcoming 1985 membership drive.
“Since there are two concerts in the 1984 program, it is a bit confusing to the public to talk about the 1985 offerings”, said Mr. Robert D. Dundas, president, “but it is necessary to make plans now”.
Renewal letters will go out to all of the 1150 members who joined for the 1984 performances. Hopefully, they will rejoin for 1985 so that personal solicitation will not be required. Mrs. W. Carlyle Crigler of Madison has again consented to chair the membership drive.
The offerings for next season will be “Manhattan Rhythm Kings”, to be presented in October; “Kaleidoscopio of Greece”, in November; “Harolin Blackwell”, soprano, in March 1986; and “Bonn Wind Quintette” will appear in April.
Mrs. Crigler announced that the “Kick-off” coffee for volunteers for the 1985-’86 membership solicitations will be held at the Mary M. Willis
