Mrs. Maria Elizabeth Starks, 91, of Washington, died Monday, February 4 at her home.
Mrs. Starks was a native of Rappahannock County and a member of the First Baptist Church in Washington.
Survivors include four daughters, Esther Whitehead, Iris C. Hill and Irma V. Kohl, all of Washington, D.C. and Aurelia Fuller of New York; four sons, Emmit R. Starks of Amissville, Irving O. Starks of Washington, Lyle Starks of Maryland and Otto D. Starks of Washington, D.C.; 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted on Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Washington by the Rev. Wendell Grant of Marshall. Burial was in the family section of the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Washington.
W.C. Thompson Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
