David Lillard of Harrisburg, Pa.

David Lillard of Harrisburg, Pa. was a Sunday overnight guest of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Carson Lillard.

Visiting with Mrs. Roland Welch at her home, “Mountain View” during the weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Roger Welch, Ryan and Courtney of Mt. Airy, Md., Mr. and Mrs. Bill Welch and sons, Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Williams and Dale Welch.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter J. Curtis visited their son, W.J. Curtis at Columbia, Md. on Sunday.

Moe Walker, M.H. Brady and Mrs. Mary Curtis attended the PastorParish committee meeting at the Sperryville United Methodist Church on Saturday afternoon. This was a charge meeting with the District Superintendent, Joe Carson of Charlottesville.

Mrs. Frank Huff, Mrs. Rick Kinsey and Miss Sallie Lillard were in Woodstock on Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth White of Raleigh, N.C. spent from Thursday until Saturday with the latter’s grandmother, Mrs. Paul Miller.

Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Pullen of Norfolk and Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Jewell of Luray were Saturday guests of Mrs. Ethel Pullen.

Mr. and Mrs. Moe Walker were Saturday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Ferguson at Winston.

Sunday guests of Mrs. Robert Nethers were Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Nethers, Mrs. Dorothy Lewis, Charles Corder, Jr., Karen Corder, Mrs. Helen Coffey, Mrs. Polly Aylor and Heather Aylor.

Conners Have

Daughter

Mr. and Mrs. Larry Conners of Woodville are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Bethany Kaye, bom on Saturday, February 2 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton. She weighed seven pounds and five ounces.

Bethany’s grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Emory Conners of Woodville and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Atkins of Sperryville.

Great grandmothers are Mrs. Lena Cline of Culpeper and Mrs. Beulah Atkins of Sperryville.

The Conners have another daughter, Jennifer Nichole, who is nine.
