The cabin is near Winchester, and 1 Robinson has spent much of his time getting information on the home from the archives in Richmond. He discovered that John Lee was Lord Fairfax’s attorney, and that the cabin was built around 1740. “This cabin was one of the first built in Virginia, and it is one of the largest and most perfect that I have ever seen,” Robinson said.
