Delaplane Resident
Elsie Marie Thompson Jeffries, 66, died Sunday, February, 10 at the Fauquier Hospital. She lived at Ashland Farm in Delaplane.
Survivors include her husband, John B. Jeffries; a son, Bobby Jeffries of Delaplane; a daughter, Susie Green of Amissville; four brothers, Milton and Roy Thompson both of Delaplane, Elwood Thompson of Middleburg, Charring Thompson of Baltimore, Md.; three sisters, Marjorie Thompson of Delaplane, Jane Jones and Alice Haynes, both of Leesburg; and one grandson.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday in the Chapel of the Royston Funeral Home, Inc., Marshall. The Rev. Joseph French officiated and interment was in the Ivy Hill Cemetery, Upperville.
Arrangements were by Royston Funeral Home.
Robert D. Jenkins
Utility Clerk
Robert Dennis Jenkins, 19, of Arlington, died on Monday, February 4 at Woodbridge.
A native of Rappahannock County, he was the son of Early Stanfield Jenkins and Lillian C. Jenkins. He was a utility clerk, employed by Raytheon Service Company.
In addition to his parents, survivors include four brothers, Early Stanfield Jenkins, Jr., Larry Steven Jenkins, Gerald Edward Jenkins and Johnny Daniel Jenkins.
Graveside services were conducted on Monday at Eltan Cemetery.
Geest-Johnson Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
