Raymond and Aloha Hitt visited a good friend in the Culpeper Hospital last Sunday. He is Bruce Settle, formerly of Castleton, who now lives in Culpeper. Aloha says that he’s doing fairly well now and is going home.
While in Culpeper, Raymond and Aloha dropped by Raymond’s Aunt Alpha Mae’s and Uncle Ray Sutphin’s home for a friendly visit. They all had a pleasant afternoon.
A belated, Happy St. Patrick’s Day birthday wish, goes out to Brandy Knighting, who turned three years old. She had a wonderful celebration at home with lots of relatives and presents. Besides her parents, Alan and Kathy, there were Brandy’s paternal grandparents, Roy Lee and Martha Knighting present, her aunt Debbie and her great aunt Ann Kearns and her son, Mike and her great grandmother, Ella Rutherford, all of Castleton. There was plenty of ice cream and cake for all.
Later Kathy and Brandy went over to Kathy’s mother’s home, Judy Hitt for more birthday wishes and fun! Little Brandy sure got her share of attention!! Bet she’ll remember that day for a long time!
