Mrs. Eva Mae Brubaker, 89, of Luray, died Sunday, March 17 in Winchester Medical Center.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday at Bradley Funeral Home in Luray by Elder Elmer Skeen. Burial was in Beahm’s Chapel Cemetery, Luray.
Mrs. Brubaker was bom October 7, 1895, in Sperryville, daughter of the late William Rufus and Tillie Ryan Yates. She was a member of Thornton’s Gap Primitive Baptist Church.
Her husband was the late Harry Andrew Brubaker.
Surviving are nieces and nephews.

You ask, “What’s DAR All About?”, the answer, education, patriotism, preservation, good citizen recognition in high schools, American history essay contest in grade schools, conservation, national defense and on and on.
Education promotion was the phase brought to the attention of the members of the Culpeper Minute Men Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution when the meeting convened in the social hall of the Culpeper United Methodist Church March 12.
Mrs. Arthur Stocker of Charlottesville, past regent of the Albermarle DAR chapter and now state chairman of DAR schools was guest speaker. Mrs. Stocker has recently visited each of the schools scattered from Massachusetts to Alabama. She gave ail illustrated review of the buildings on each campus.
